Shelly Bahl is a founding artist member of SAVAC (South Asian Visual Arts Centre) in Toronto. She was the inaugural director of SAVAC (1997-1999), an Interim Administration and Development Officer (2002) and a member of the Board of Directors (2005-07). SAVAC archives >>
From 1999-2000 Bahl was the first Curator-in-Residence (Contemporary Art) at the Art Gallery of Ontario, awarded through the Canada Council for the Arts, Culturally Diverse Curators Program. Two of her projects can be seen here:
