Shelly Bahl has worked with numerous arts organizations as a curator and arts programmer since 1992.
She is a founding artist member of ZEN-MIX 2000: Pan-Asian Visual Arts Network in Toronto (1996-2000).

From 1999-2000 Bahl was the first Curator-in-Residence (Contemporary Art) at the Art Gallery of Ontario, awarded through the Canada Council for the Arts, Culturally Diverse Curators Program. Two of her projects can be seen here:
She has also served on the Board of Directors and programming committees for the South Asian Women’s Creative Collective in NYC, and Mercer Union Gallery, Gallery 44 & A Space Gallery in Toronto.
